Terms & Conditions

When you use this website, you agree to abide by all terms and conditions set forth here. This website and its contents are the copyrighted property of Al Wasl Charters. You may not modify, reproduce, sell, distribute, or transfer information from this website without obtaining permission from us. All information on this website is solely for your personal use as you reserve or purchase our products and services. We reserve the right to add, remove, or change the information on this website at any time, including these terms and conditions.

Confirmation and Responsibilities

At least 24 hours before your trip, you must confirm the number of guests coming aboard. If any children are in your party, those children are the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians. No guests may wear shoes with heels. We recommend trainers and other flat shoes that will not mark the deck.

Included Items and Services

Included in your trip are the services of your captain and one crew member, the fuel necessary for the trip, fishing equipment, and snorkeling equipment. Also included are water, soft drinks, and ice for your refreshment.

Identification Requirements

Before you embark on a sports fishing trip or cruise, you must present your passport, a copy of your passport, your UAE residence permit, or your UAE driver’s license. The UAE Coast Guard requires us to request one of these forms of identification from every passenger who boards one of our vessels.

The Captain’s Authority

It would help if you recognized the captain’s authority at all times. The captain has complete authority over all navigational affairs and the use of all onboard equipment. If the captain deems an activity unsafe at any time, he may prohibit that activity until further notice. Anti-social behavior is not acceptable. The captain may report such conduct to the police and conclude the trip early if necessary, at his sole discretion.

Cancellations

You must pay half the cost of your trip or cruise when you book the boat or yacht. The remaining half of the price is due at least 24 hours before your scheduled departure time. If you cancel within 24 hours of your planned trip or cruise, or if you and your guests do not arrive at the designated time, you will be charged the total cost of the trip. We may cancel or postpone your trip due to events beyond our control, such as mechanical problems, severe weather, or Coast Guard restrictions. We will either issue you a full refund or work with you to reschedule your trip if this happens.

Liability Indemnity

Al Wasl Charters does not accept liability for any loss or additional expense incurred from accident, injury, sickness, or death. Neither do we take responsibility for any personal damages or harm that you or your guests may experience during a recreational activity either on or off the boat, such as fishing, swimming, and other activities.

UAE Laws and Practices

Please observe the following laws and practices related to your trip.

  • All fishing and alcohol consumption must be conducted according to applicable UAE regulations.
  • The number of individuals on board must not exceed the count stated on the charter registration.
  • Any guest younger than 21 years old must remain under the supervision of an older adult.
  • No pets or animals of any kind are allowed on board.
  • Captain and crew member contingent as required for charters under UAE law.
